Our Story
Like all great love stories,
ours started with a dog.
From Vancouver to New York to Toronto, and everywhere in between.

Vancouver
Where it started
Jessica was in town for spring break when a mutual friend made the introduction. If we are being completely honest, she was far more interested in meeting Luna, Brandon’s Pomsky, than in Brandon.

The long way around
Spring break ended and Jessica went home to New York. For a while the whole thing lived in airports — three time zones, a lot of late calls, and every holiday turned into a reason to close the distance.

Same city, finally
Eventually Brandon made the move east. After years of counting down to the next visit, simply being in the same place never quite wore off.

Two dogs later
The pack comes east
Yoshi came down first. Luna followed not long after. What began as an excuse to meet somebody’s dog had quietly turned into a household.

A castle will do
We were going to do this in Italy. Then we saw Casa Loma — and decided a castle in Toronto would do just fine.

Years later, we still have our mutual friend to thank for bringing us together — but we like to think Luna deserves a little credit too. From an unexpected introduction in Vancouver to finding our forever in each other, we feel incredibly lucky for every moment that brought us here. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter, and we hope you’ll join us to celebrate the start of it.
