ours started with a dog.
From Vancouver to New York to Toronto, and everywhere in between.

Vancouver, where we met Vancouver
Where it started
Jessica was in town for spring break. If we are being completely honest, she was far more interested in meeting Luna, than in Brandon.

The long way around
When spring break ended, Jessica returned home to New York. For a while, they made long distance work through late-night calls and visits whenever they could find the time.

Same city, finally
Eventually Brandon made the move east. After years of counting down to the next visit, simply being in the same place never quite wore off.

The pack comes east
Yoshi came down first. Luna followed not long after. What began as an excuse to meet somebody’s dog had quietly turned into a household.

Next stop, Casa Loma Toronto
A castle will do
We spent hours going back and forth, looking at venues along the Sea to Sky and across Italy, before finding Casa Loma and realizing the perfect place had been in Toronto all along.

Years later, we still have our mutual friend to thank for bringing us together, but we like to think Luna deserves a little credit too. From an unexpected introduction in Vancouver to finding our forever in each other, we feel incredibly lucky for every moment that brought us here. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter, and we hope you’ll join us to celebrate the start of it.
